In this depreciation and buying guide of the Porsche 911 996 Turbo, I will show you how much the values changed in the last year and how much the car depreciates per 1000 miles. Moreover, I will show you how these numbers differ for the Turbo, Turbo S, and the ones with the X50 package. You will also find out how the value increase compares to the 997 and 991 turbo.

We start with a market overview in which I will show you the current 996 turbo market. We will have a look at the median prices and the differences between the Coupe and Cabriolets, Turbo, Turbo S, and the ones with an X50 package. Finally, we also have a look at the automatics and manuals. We will then continue with the price development during last year. It turns out that the complete 996 turbo market went up in price with 23% and that all market segment increased. Yet, the increase is a lot less than the increase in the 996 carrera market where prices went up with 40%. Nevertheless, a comparison to the , , , and market revealed that the 996 turbo might be the most popular one. The price increase is most severe in that market. At the end of the video we will also have a look at the depreciation per 1000 miles. It turns out that that this didn’t change significantly during the last year.
